Wild Prospects Report - Nov. 21

Houston Aeros 2012-13 Record: 7-6-1-2, 17 points, Third Place in South Division

The Houston Aeros split a weekend series with the IceHogs, falling on Friday in Rockford before a victory in St. Paul Sunday. The IceHogs held onto their two-goal lead Friday, as Houston fell 2-1 in Rockford. Right wing Nick Palmieri scored the lone goal for Houston, while Matt Hackett stopped 22 shots in the loss. The Aeros rebounded with a 3-2 win in front of 11,175 fans at Xcel Energy Center Sunday evening. Winger Johan Larsson led Houston with two goals, while Justin Fontaine also scored and Hackett made 29 saves during an impressive performance in net. Watch the game's highlights, here.

The Aeros visit division rival San Antonio Friday at 7:30 p.m. CT, before hosting Abbotsford Sunday at 5:05 p.m.

Canadian Hockey Leagues

LW Raphael Bussieres - Baie-Comeau (QMJHL): The Wild’s second-round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft totaled 10 points (4-6=10) and a plus-3 rating in three games with Baie-Comeau. He now has 32 points (13-19=32) in and a plus-14 rating in 23 games.

D Matt Dumba - Red Deer (WHL): Minnesota’s first-round pick in June’s Draft notched a plus-2 rating in two games with the Rebels last week. Skated in two games as an alternate captain as Team WHL split a pair of games vs. Russia during the CHL Subway Super Series. He has 13 points (5-8=13) this season.

C Tyler Graovac - Ottawa (OHL): Skated in one game with Ottawa last week. Ranks third among all OHL players with 18 goals this season and has already matched his OHL full-season high with 27 points on the year. Recorded a goal and plus-1 rating for Team OHL in a split of games vs. Russia during the CHL’s Subway Super Series.

D Colton Jobke - Regina (WHL): The Pats did not play last week. He has as 13 points (1-12=13) and 42 PIM in 15 games.

College/USHL

D John Draeger - Michigan State (CCHA): The Wild’s third-round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft totaled 2 PIM and a minus-2 rating in two games as Michigan State earned a tie and loss at Miami. The freshman has four points (1-3=4) in 12 games.

RW Adam Gilmour - Muskegon (USHL): Minnesota’s fourth-round selection in the 2012 Draft registered two goals and two assists in two games with Muskegon last week. In 17 games,

RW Anthony Hamburg - RIT (AHA): Skated in two games as RIT lost to Mercyhurst and Canisius. In nine games, the forward has three points (1-2=3).

LW Erik Haula - University of Minnesota (WCHA): Totaled three points (1-2=3) in win and tie at Alaska Anchorage over the weekend. Leads the Gophers with 11 points and five goals this season, as the team is ranked No. 3 in the country.

LW Mario Lucia - Notre Dame (CCHA): Played his first collegiate games as Notre Dame swept a series at Michigan for the first time since 1978. Scored his first collegiate goal in Friday’s win. Suffered a broken leg before the start of his first season with the Irish and returned Nov. 15 at Michigan. Notre Dame is ranked No. 6 in the country. LW Louis Nanne - Penticton (BCHL): Registered two points (1-1=2) and 2 PIM in three games last week…Penticton is the No. 3 ranked team in the BCHL with a record of 15-6-0-2. In 15 games, he has 15 points (5-10=15).

D Nick Seeler - Nebraska Omaha (WCHA): The Mavericks did not play last week. Nebraska-Omaha is ranked No. 14 in the country. Has a goal, four assists and is plus-5 in 10 games.

International

RW Christoph Bertschy - SC Bern (Swiss): Skated in two games last week. Has a goal in 19 games with Bern. Ranked second on Switzerland with six points (3-3=6) in five games at the World Junior A Challenge, finishing third in the tournament.

D Daniel Gunnarsson - Lulea HF (SEL): Scored a goal in two games with Lulea last week. In 22 games, the defenseman has five points (3-2=5).

Goaltenders

Johan Gustafsson - Lulea HF (SEL): Allowed three total goals as he split two decisions last week. Ranks third in goals-against average (1.70 GAA) amongst Swedish Elite League goalies and eighth in save percentage (.926 SV%) having stopped 277-of-299 shots.

Stephen Michalek - Harvard (ECAC): Did not play in Harvard’s weekend meetings at Cornell and Colgate.
