Wild Acquires Conditional Pick

The Minnesota Wild has acquired a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft from the Washington Capitals for defenseman Chay Genoway.  

The blueliner played in one game with the Wild in the 2011-12 season, adding one assist. In 53 games with the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League, Genoway has 19 points (4-15=19).
