Harding Named NHL\'s Third Star

Wild goaltender Josh Harding was named the NHL's Third Star of the Week for his effort in the week ending Nov. 18.

The netminder went 3-0-0 in three games, had a goals-against average of 1.38 and a .939 save percentage to help the Wild improve its franchise record best start to 13-4-4. He stopped 19-of-20 shots faced in relief of an injured Backstrom and both shootout attempts to earn the victory in the Wild’s 2-1 shootout win against Toronto on Wednesday. Harding entered with 9:21 left in the first period. He made 22 saves in a 3-2 win over Florida on Friday. Harding made 21 saves in a 2-1 win vs. Winnipeg on Sunday to improve his record to 10-0-0 at Xcel Energy Center this season.

This is the first time this season Harding has been named an NHL Star of the Week. He was awarded the NHL's First Star of the Week on Nov. 7, 2011.
