Harding Awarded Third Star For November
Wild goaltender Josh Harding was excellent last month and has been named the NHL\'s Third Star of November

Wild goaltender Josh Harding is off to the best start to a season of his career and has earned his second individual award this season.

The netminder was stellar last month and has been awarded the National Hockey League’s Third Star for November. During the month, Harding went 8-2-2 with a 1.88 goals-against average and .926 save percentage. He also pitched one shutout. Harding ranked tied for second in wins in November and third in GAA amongst goalies that played in at least 10 contests. He becomes the first Wild player in franchise history to be named a Star of the Month.

Harding is 14-4-3 this season and ranks first in the NHL in goals-against average (1.45 GAA), tied for first with three shutouts, second with a .939 SV% and tied for third in wins. Harding’s 14 wins and three shutouts are career-highs.

Earlier this month, Harding was named the NHL's Third Star of the Week for his effort in the week ending Nov. 18.

Last season, Harding won the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey. Along with his passionate play on the ice, the goaltender started Harding's Hope, a charity to raise awareness about MS and raise funds to support people living with the disease. Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane is the Leagues First Star, while Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin is the second.
