D Marco Scandella scored his first goal of the season with 1:48 left in regulation to lead Minnesota to a 4-3 victory in front of a sellout crowd of 18,852 fans Thursday night at Xcel Energy Center. D Jared Spurgeon led the Wild with two assists and G Josh Harding made 16 saves to earn the win. Next up, Minnesota finishes its fourth set of back-to-back games in Columbus Friday at 6 p.m. CT on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3.

Five out of Minnesota’s last seven wins have had the game-winning goal come in the last five minutes.

G Josh Harding stopped 16-of-19 shots to move to 15-4-3 in 23 games this season. His shutout streak, spanning three games, ended with 00:17 left in the second period and totaled a personal-best 131:36. He’s 12-1-0 on home ice this season, posting a 33-10-2 record in his career starts at Xcel Energy Center, including 26-5-1 since Jan. 27, 2010.

LW Zach Parise scored his seventh power-play goal – T-2nd for most amongst NHL players this season. He now leads the Wild with 24 points (12-12=24) in 29 games this season, including six points (2-4=6) in his last seven games and has at least one point in 14 of his last 20 games (8-11=19).

LW Matt Cooke opened the scoring with his second goal in the last three games. He has 12 points (5-7=12) in 30 games during his first season with Minnesota.

D Jonas Brodin tied the game with a power-play goal in the third period. He has 10 points (5-5=10) in 27 games this season, after posting 11 points (2-9=11) in 45 games during his rookie season.

D Jared Spurgeon netted two assists, his second multi-point game this season and seventh of his career. He has 10 points (1-9=10) in 30 games this season.

RW Jason Pominville tallied an assist to stretch his point streak to three games (1-2=3). He ranks third on the Wild with 20 points (14-6=20) in 30 games this season.

Minnesota earned its first regulation victory against Chicago in Saint Paul since Oct. 27, 2008.

Minnesota ended a six-game PPG drought (0-for-11), scoring two power-play goals for the fifth time this season.

Minnesota moved to 8-0-1 when leading after one period and 13-0-3 when leading after two periods.

Minnesota limited Chicago to 19 shots, the Blackhawks’ lowest total of the season (25, Nov. 2 at WPG).

C Mikko Koivu skated in his 566th game, moving into sole possession of second place on the Wild’s All-Time Games Played list, past Pierre-Marc Bouchard (565) and behind Nick Schultz (743). He won 16-of-20 (80.0%) faceoffs on the night.

LW Jeremy Morin, LW Brandon Saad and RW Marian Hossa scored for Chicago, while G Corey Crawford made 19 saves in net for Chicago.
