The Minnesota Wild makes several roster moves as the team heads west for a two-game road trip.

The Wild has placed goalie Josh Harding and center Mikko Koivu on Injured Reserve. The team also has recalled defenseman Jonathon Blum and forward Erik Haula from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.

Minnesota practices in Los Angeles this afternoon and will have a further update on Koivu's status after the skate. He suffered a lower-body injury in the Wild’s 5-3 win over Washington on Saturday. The captain has 35 points (8-27=35) in 44 games this season. He leads Minnesota in points and assists and ranks third in time on ice per game amongst NHL forwards at 21:32.

Blum has tallied 17 points (4-13=17) in 31 games this season with Iowa. He ranks tied for first on the team in scoring and power-play goals with four. The 6-foot-1, 188-pound native of Long Beach, Calif., has recorded 22 points (7-15=22) and 20 penalty minutes (PIM) in 91 career NHL games during three seasons with Nashville. Blum was signed as a free agent by Minnesota on July 12, 2013. He wears sweater No. 7 with Minnesota.

Haula has tallied 17 points (9-8=17) in 24 games with Iowa this season. The 22-year-old ranks tied for first on the team in goals, scoring and power-play goals with four. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound native of Pori, Finland, recorded an assist in his NHL debut on Nov. 29 vs. Colorado and owns two assists and a plus-3 rating in 10 games with Minnesota this season. Haula was selected by the Wild in the seventh round (182nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and wears jersey No. 56 with Minnesota.

Harding has missed the last two games with an illness. He is 18-7-3 with a 1.65 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage (SV%) and three shutouts in 29 games this season. The 29-year-old ranks first in the NHL in GAA, tied for third in shutouts, fourth in SV% and eighth in wins
