Postgame Notes vs. St. Louis - March 9

RW T.J. Oshie scored the shootout winner to lead St. Louis to a 3-2 shootout victory Sunday night at Xcel Energy Center in front of a sellout crowd of 18,909 fans in Saint Paul – the Wild’s 25th sellout this season. RW Jason Pominville and LW Matt Moulson scored for Minnesota in regulation, while G Ilya Bryzgalov made 20 saves through overtime in his Wild debut. Next up, Minnesota will continue its homestand with a game against Edmonton on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT on FOX Sports North PLUS and KFAN 100.3 FM.

The Wild moved to 14-5-4 in 2014, having earned points in 12 of its last 15 games (9-3-3). The Wild’s six-game win streak in Saint Paul came to an end, moving to 22-7-3 at Xcel Energy Center this season.

RW Jason Pominville netted Minnesota's first goal of the night while extending his team lead to 23 goals. He has 10 points (4-6=10) in his last 12 games. He also leads the Wild with 43 points this season (23-20=43).

LW Matt Moulson netted his first goal in a Wild uniform and has two points (1-1=2) in as many games with Minnesota. He has 10 points (3-7=10) in his last eight games. He’s totaled 40 points (18-22=40) in 57 games with the New York Islanders, Buffalo and Minnesota this season.

LW Zach Parise earned the primary assist on Pominville's goal. He now has 13 points (6-7=13) in his last 10 games. He ranks second on the team with 40 points (21-19=40) in 49 games this season.

D Ryan Suter tallied his 29th helper of the season on Pominville's goal. He skated 31:20 – his 32nd game hitting 30:00 TOI this season. He ranks T-16th amongst NHL defensemen with 35 points (6-29=35). His 29 assists are also T-1st on Minnesota.

C Mikko Koivu tallied an assist on Moulson's goal, earning his 10th point in his last eight games (1-9=10). He shares the team lead in assists with Suter at 29.

G Ilya Bryzgalov made his Wild debut, stopping 20-of-22 shots through overtime and allowed goals on both of St. Louis shootout attempts. He moved to 5-8-6 in 21 games with Edmonton and Minnesota. His start ended G Darcy Kuemper’s Wild rookie record of 16 consecutive starts.

Minnesota fell to 8-5 in the shootout this season, losing for the first time in five extra sessions. Minnesota moved to 9-8 in games decided after regulation.

RW T.J. Oshie and D Carlo Colaiacovo each scored for St. Louis in regulation, while G Brian Elliott made 17 saves through overtime for the Blues.
