Wild Street is the Minnesota Wild’s locally run component of the NHL Street Hockey program. The program offers opportunities for kids to be introduced to the game of hockey.
The equipment for Wild Street is generously donated by the NHL for participants at local program centers. By learning on a street surface, kids can familiarize themselves with the game before playing on ice. Over 1,250 kids across the State of Hockey have participated in Wild Street at local Twin Cities Boys and Girls Clubs, The Salvation Army and St. Paul Parks and Recreation Centers.
If you would like more information about becoming a Wild Street program center, please call the Community Relations Department at 651-602-6000, email Community@wild.com or visit NHL Street.
