Played first full professional season in 2006-07 with Houston (AHL), registering 36 points (19-17=36) and 109 PIM in 67 games and also skated in three games with the Wild...Scored 11 goals in his first 15 AHL games and fininshed second on the team in PPG (eight)...Made NHL debut at MTL (11/22/06)...Paced Sudbury (OHL) with 35 goals and was second in points with 65 (35-30=65) in 51 games during 2005-06...Named to the 2005-06 OHL Eastern Conference All-Star Team...Skated in two 2006 AHL playoff games with Houston...Earned a gold medal at 2006 WJC, notching five assists in six games for Canada...Tallied 67 points (29-38=67) in 67 games in 2004-05 for Sudbury and added 14 points (6-8=14) in 12 playoff contests...Cited as 2005 OHL Rookie of the Year and named to the OHL 2nd All-Star Team...No. 2 among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting Service final rankings...Signed a contract with the Minnesota Wild on May 1, 2006.
