Minnesota Sports & Entertainment (MSE), the parent company of the Minnesota Wild, has recently broadened its involvement in business and community activity.
Minnesota Sports & Entertainment (MSE), the parent company of the Minnesota Wild, understands that, although success on the ice is extremely important, it is even more important to make a positive impact in our community. We are proud of our players and our staff and their desire to make a difference and touch the lives of so many in our great state. We realize that in the State of Hockey, our sport reaches far beyond the rink. That’s why our goals go beyond just building the game of hockey.
Since our inception in 2000, MSE Community Giving has invested more than $2.8 million back into the community. We have provided autographed and non-autographed merchandise for community fundraisers and benefits, made contributions to non-profit organizations, implemented successful events, provided awareness and brand connectivity for smaller non-profit organizations and our players and staff have made countless appearances in the community.
MSE Community Giving is the largest non-member funding source for Minnesota Hockey and provides fundraising opportunities for youth athletic associations across the state. We administer a reading program in Minnesota grade schools and MSE employees volunteer hundreds of hours each year as mentors in a fourth grade classroom. In addition, the Fund has made significant contributions to Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and supported numerous other children’s charities.
Our work in the community and on the ice is never done. We pledge to continue raising funds and giving back to our community, while being inspired by our passion for hockey and our compassion for those in need. We are eternally grateful to the Team of 18,000 for their generous support of all of our community initiatives!
