In the playoffs, what we do is meet for dinner, then we stay in the hotel. Staying in the hotel is a lot like the road, where I have my own room so I don't have to deal with a snoring roommate. When I was in Boston, P.J. Axelsson was my roommate. We had the same game day habits, so it was good, too. Sometimes, having a roommate can be a good thing, but I have heard a few complaints about a couple pairs on our team.
As for hockey ...
In Game 2, we have to come out the same way. One of the things we can do better is get more traffic at the net and battle hard around both nets. We did get 1 goal on the power play, but we have to capitalize when we get early power plays. If we can ge6t a lead, that would benefit us.
We have to keep in mind that it is a 7 game series -- but at the same time understand that every play makes a difference in the playoffs. Mentally is where you have to be strong in the playoffs. There are a lot of ups and downs, and the team that keeps fighting and stays composed is the team that has the advantage.
