GAMEDAY: Wild vs. Oilers (PRESEASON)
Edmonton Oilers vs. Minnesota Wild

Tonight's game will be streamed live on Wild.com and FoxSportsNorth.com. Live in-game commentary will also return for tonight, and the regular season.

You can listen to the game live here.

The Minnesota Wild will play its seventh game in 10 nights when the Edmonton Oilers visit Xcel Energy Center for the final preseason game of 2011. The in-game auditions for the Wild's bubble players like Brett Bulmer, Justin Falk and newly-acquired Nick Johnson end tonight.

The same can be said for those assured of roster spots, but are still adjusting to the new strategy implemented by Head Coach Mike Yeo. Following tonight, the Wild will have a day off, spend two days bonding in Duluth, and then return home to prepare for the October 8 home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Tonight's game will be video streamed live on Wild.com, and can be heard on KFAN 100.3 FM, as well as online on Wild.com.

Tonight's Lineup

The Wild's final audition lineup will once again include Brett Bulmer, who will skate in his fifth preseason contest. The injured players - Matt Cullen, Jared Spurgeon, Mike Lundin, Drew Bagnall and Cody Almond will not be seen until the regular season starts. Cal Clutterbuck will also sit out tonight with a sore groin:

Latendresse-Brodziak-Bouchard
Johnson-Powe-Wellman
Gillies-Nystrom-Bulmer

Zanon-Scandella

What to watch for...

Nick Johnson rode in a car from Pittsburgh to Columbus and played approximately two hours after his arrival. He'll make his Xcel Energy Center debut tonight, but more importantly, he's got one more game to get noticed and earn a full-time roster spot.

Tonight's Oilers Roster

The Oilers play tomorrow in Vancouver, so it appears we won't get to see the likes of Taylor Hall, or Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Petrell - Lander - Omark

Up Next

The Wild will embark on a little getaway to Duluth beginning Sunday for some team bonding and practices at the brand new AMSOIL Arena. Tomorrow begins a stretch of seven off days before the home opener on October 8.
