GAMEDAY: Game 3 Wild vs. Chicago
Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild
Minnesota Wild (No. 7 seed in Western Conference) vs. Chicago Blackhawks (No. 5 seed in Western Conference) - Minnesota trails in the series 2-0

Well, this feels familiar.

Much like its first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Wild faces a 2-0 deficit in the best-of-seven series as the Second Round comes to Saint Paul in Game 3.

The Wild looks to keep its home success rolling this postseason. Through three playoff games at Xcel Energy Center, Minnesota hasn’t dropped a single contest. That streak started in an intense effort in Game 3 of the first round where Mikael Granlund netted the overtime winner with a goal that instantly inked the pages of Wild history. The win was the third-straight Game 3 victory for the Wild, a trend it hopes to continue tonight.

After a pair of tough losses in Chicago that seemed to lack energy on the Wild’s part, the club is hoping that a return home will help it re-energize — aided, of course, by the home crowd.

Wild Head Coach Mike Yeo shuffled the lines slightly, swapping Matt Moulson and Nino Niederreiter. But Yeo isn't afraid to switch things up mid-game either if the Wild need a different look. Making his return to the lineup tonight is Keith Ballard, who hasn't seen action since March 17 in Boston.

Sunday afternoon the Wild suffered a 4-1 loss to the Hawks. Cody McCormick netted his first goal of the postseason for the Wild’s lone goal in the contest. Netminder Ilya Bryzgalov made 18 saves while Jonathan Toews, Bryan Bickell each tallied a goal and Brandon Saad had two. Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford made 18 saves.
If You're Going
Coming from behind against the Hawks is no easy feat. Chicago is 5-0 when scoring first this postseason. They also share the lead in the NHL with 29 goal scored, including 13 total third-period goals. They also rank fourth with only 17 goals allowed. Be sure to swing by the pre-game party and get ready to get Wild. (Yeah, I said it.) Also, the Wild lauded the fans ability to get loud last series. Keep it up this time around; bring the noise!

The Wild will wear its GREEN sweaters tonight.
Who's Hot Gameday Media
Dany Heatley leads Minnesota and ranks T-4th in the NHL with a plus-7 rating this postseason. He also ranks T-2nd on the Wild with six points (1-5=6) this postseason.

Fans can guess who's going to be hot with the Wild's HotBox Fantasy Challenge for a chance to win great prizes.
